I feel the bike is a great value. When assembling you have to take your time. You will figure it out. The instructions were not that bad. I did 90 percent on my own. If you put together a bike before you will not have any problems. I already put 10 mile on it. It is a great ride. I used the old seat from my old bike just because I spent so much money for it. The only problem I had was the disc breaks. I never had them before but got them adjusted and rolling. For the value dont miss out on this bike. It has gone up in price already. Probably because of the popularity.
We had trouble with the handles moving forward and backwards despite being very tight. We also had issues with the handle bar vertical post coming apart from the front wheel. It also jack-knifes…meaning the front tire can turn from going straight quickly to the left or right more than 90 degrees. Our previous balance bike prevented that. I would not call this the safest bike. We are happy with the size for our 5 yr old. We are happy with the weight for our 5 yr old. I do like the brakes. I just would not call it the safest bike
I bought this bicycle for my triathlon training. I put it together almost immediately upon arrival and everything seems great! I have made a couple of additions, tri-bars, computer, tail light and have also removed the kickstand. It rides so fast compared to my other bike. It asks for a comfort rating, and while the bike is comfortable, the seat (and any bicycle seat) NEVER feels comfortable to me. I am getting used to it, and hopefully will not have so much saddle soreness in the future.
Took us awhile to put it together. Found a good You Tube video to help us. Bought if for my teenage son. Looks like it’s going to be a good bike.
